New bridge. Scheme started in November 1999 and completed in July 2000.
A new navigable bridge was to be constructed on the site of the demolished bridge. The work involves a temporary road diversion to provide continuity of access to the mill premises using Stoney Battery.
Initial work concentrated on a Yorkshire Electricity diversion and a start on the road diversion. A temporary tow path closure and diversion between Stoney Battery and Longroyd Bridge has been signed.
The old bridge remains have been removed.
